Meet your therapist

My name is Adrienne Asesor De Mesa, MSW, RSW and I use she/her pronouns!

I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Manitoba in 2014, and have been a Registered Social Worker (RSW) ever since. I graduated with my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2026.

I have been working with folks of all ages and backgrounds for the past 12 years. In my experience, life can sometimes feel like you're carrying stories that were never yours to hold, and part of growing is learning to gently set them down and make space for the stories that are truly yours to write.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families using a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming, and strengths-based approach. I integrate evidence-based approaches while recognizing the importance of culture, family, identity and lived experiences.  I believe that behaviour is communication and that every person has unique ways of learning, connecting, and thriving. Rather than focusing on "fixing" people, I work alongside folks to build practical skills, increase self-understanding, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

I strive to offer culturally responsive care where folks from diverse backgrounds can feel welcomed and respected. My areas of practice include neurodivergence (ex. ADHD, Autism), anxiety management, emotion regulation, parenting support, family relationships, self-esteem and identity, and navigating social systems to expand community-based support.

I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming. My hope is that our work together helps you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create new possibilities in the life ahead of you. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Wherever you are in your story, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.
